Russia does not rule out the deployment of missiles, including those with nuclear equipment, in response to the deployment of American weapons in Germany, said Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov on Thursday, July 18.

When asked by journalists, whether the Russian side is considering the possibility of deploying missiles with nuclear warheads, Ryabkov said "I do not rule out any options.”

During NATO's 75th anniversary summit, the US announced its plan to station non-nuclear long-range missiles, Tomahawk cruise, SM-6, and hypersonic missiles in Germany from 2026 for the first time since the Cold War.

"The fact is that it is the fault of the Federal Republic of Germany, but above all, of course, the United States, which is at the head of the NATO bloc, resulted in the total destruction of the system of agreements in the field of arms control," Ryabkov stated.
