Russian forces launched a massive drone strike on the port city of Odesa and the surrounding area overnight on February 19, injuring four people, including a child.

As a result of the massive strike on a densely populated area of the city, large parts of Odesa were left without electricity, water, and heating.

“14 schools, 13 kindergartens, and a large residential district, over 500 buildings, have been left without electricity and heating,” the Mayor of Odesa Henadii Trukhanov wrote.

“The attack damaged civilian infrastructure, including a children’s clinic, a kindergarten, residential buildings, and cars,” the Mayor added.
