Late on October 30, a powerful explosion shook Kharkiv as Russian forces targeted a residential building with a guided aerial bomb (KAB). According to reports from Kharkiv officials, the strike hit a multi-story building in the Saltivka district, resulting in numerous casualties and structural damage.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the head of Kharkiv’s Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, relayed initial details through Telegram. At around 10:51 PM local time, Terekhov confirmed that an explosion had been reported, and emergency services were on the scene to assess the impact.
