Russia Shells Kurakhove: At Least Three Dead, 11 Injured

On September 1, 2024, a Russian shelling of Kurakhove in the Donetsk region, Ukraine, resulted in at least three deaths and nine injuries.

According to the Donetsk Regional Military Administration (RMA), Russian forces used the “Uragan” multiple launch rocket systems, striking residential areas and apartment buildings in the city center.

Authorities, police, and rescue workers are currently at the scene. The exact number of casualties and the extent of the damage are still being determined.
