On Monday, March 31, Russian forces carried out five airstrikes using guided aerial bombs (KABs) on a frontline community in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing one civilian and injuring two others, according to Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

A 66-year-old woman was killed in the attack; rescuers later recovered her body from the rubble of a destroyed home. The strike also left two people injured — a 46-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man. Both sustained injuries of varying severity and received medical attention.

The Administration confirmed that the strikes targeted residential areas and social infrastructure, resulting in significant damage to civilian buildings.

Search and rescue operations remain ongoing as emergency workers continue to clear debris and search for possible victims.

“The Russian military launched five KAB strikes on one of the communities in the region,” said Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. Local authorities are still assessing the full scale of destruction caused by the airstrikes.

On the same day, Russian forces also carried out an airstrike on Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, dropping seven KABs. The attack destroyed a residential building and injured three civilians.

On March 29, Russia attacked a military hospital in Kharkiv with a drone strike, leaving two dead and dozens injured.
