Russian Attack on Rozkishne, Donetsk Region, Kills Three Civilians and Injures Four

On June 20, 2024, Russian military forces launched an attack on Rozkishne in Donetsk region using cluster munitions. According to Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office and Vadym Filashkin, head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, three people were killed and four others injured.

The Prosecutor’s Office stated, “At 12:20 on June 20, 2024, the aggressor state’s army targeted the Illinivska community in Kramatorsk district, using cluster munitions from BM-30 ‘Smerch’ multiple rocket launchers. In Rozkishne, a 64-year-old woman and two men aged 30 and 42 suffered fatal injuries.”

Additionally, two men aged 32 and 37, a 57-year-old woman, and a 14-year-old were reported to have sustained injuries from mine explosions and shrapnel. The injured were taken to medical facilities for treatment.

The shelling also caused damage to four households, two vehicles, and a gas pipeline in the area.

Recently Russia launched a cluster munition attack on the village of Ulakly in Donetsk region, resulting in the deaths of three civilians and injuring five others.
