Russian Drone and Missile Strikes Across Ukraine Kill 2, Injure at Least 28, Including Children
Russian massive drone and missile strike on Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih and Kherson region kills 2 people and injures at least 28, including children, causing mass destruction and damaging multiple residential buildings.
Russian drone attack on Kyiv resulted in fires and injuries, with debris falling in the Solomianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts, reported Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko on October 29.
The drone strikes caused fires in residential buildings and damaged several vehicles and a commercial property.
“Six people were injured in the attack, with fires affecting homes, cars, and a commercial building,” Klitschko said.
In Kryvyi Rih, emergency rescue operations concluded following a missile strike that killed 1 person and left 14 injured.
Over 10 buildings and 12 garages were damaged, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) report on October 29.
Further south in Antonivka, Kherson region, Russian drone targeted local residents and emergency services, Kherson region officials reported on October 28.
A 64-year-old doctor from the ambulance crew was killed by Russian strike.
Two more men, aged 52, along with a paramedic, were severely injured and are currently receiving intensive medical care.
In another attack, a 52-year-old woman suffered blast injuries and is undergoing further examination.
In Stanislav, Kherson region, a Russian strike on residential buildings injured 2 adults and 2 children, stated Kherson region governor on October 29.
An 8-year-old and a 14-year-old sustained closed head injuries and other wounds, with doctors assessing their conditions as moderately severe.
A 44-year-old woman was diagnosed with a concussion, shoulder dislocation, and leg injuries, while a 51-year-old man suffered blast injuries and a concussion as well.
Earlier, Russian forces targeted downtown Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs, hitting a historical administrative building known as the “Derzhprom” and a medical institution.
