The incident happened as the men were moving firewood from a ZIL vehicle into a tractor unit. The attack drone hit the truck during the process, killing the two men, aged 52 and 67, who were standing beside it. A fire broke out immediately after the strike.
Police are working at the scene, gathering evidence and recording what they describe as another Russian crime against civilians.
This is not the first time Russia has struck a civilian vehicle. On the morning of April 20, Russian forces hit a humanitarian evacuation van with FPV drones near Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, despite their own announced “Easter truce.”

The vehicle belonged to the humanitarian mission “Proliska,” and several people were injured in the attack.
The head of Proliska’s Donetsk branch, Yevhen Tkachov, confirmed the strike in a phone call with Suspilne Donbas. He explained that at 8 a.m. on Easter Sunday, the team was evacuating civilians from the village of Zoria in the Illinivka community. Two elderly people and two families were traveling in their own cars behind the Proliska van when it came under drone fire.
Earlier, a Russian drone strike targeted an evacuation bus near Bilopillia in Ukraine's Sumy region, resulting in the deaths of nine civilians and leaving at least four others injured.
