Russian Drone Strike Hits Residential Building in Zhytomyr Region, Killing One and Injuring Five

On the evening of April 10, a Russian drone struck a residential building in the town of Ozerne, Zhytomyr region, according to Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration.
“Today, an enemy drone hit a multi-story residential building in the Zhytomyr district. At least five homes were damaged.
Unfortunately, one person was killed. As of now, we know of five injured, including a child born in 2011. The wounded have been hospitalized in medical facilities across the region,” Bunechko said.

He also noted that emergency services and an investigative team are working at the scene. A shelter is being set up in the community to provide warmth and assistance. Residents of damaged apartments will receive building materials and the necessary support to repair the destruction.
