A Russian drone strike on a residential area in Sumy, Ukraine, on the night of October 22 resulted in the deaths of three civilians, including a mother and her 14-year-old child, according to the local regional military administration.
“3 people, including a child, were killed after enemy drones struck residential houses,” the administration reported.
“14-year-old daughter with her 50-year-old mother died, the child’s father wounded, he is 50 years old”, added the prosecutor’s office.
The second victim, a 62-year-old woman, was identified as the sister of the deceased child’s father.
Additionally, the strike damaged a multi-story residential building and critical infrastructure in the city.

Earlier, Russia launched coordinated drone and guided bomb attacks across Ukraine, injuring at least 18 people.
