Russian Drones Strike Mykolaiv, Damaging Energy Infrastructure and Residential Buildings

Russian forces conducted a drone strike using “Shahed”-type unmanned aerial vehicles against Mykolaiv region during the night of November 3. The attack resulted in damage to energy infrastructure and multiple structures.
This was reported by Vitalii Kim, Head of the Mykolaiv region Military Administration.
According to Kim, the overnight attack by “Shahed” drones inflicted damage on regional energy infrastructure.
“Power was cut off in 12 settlements, but as of now, all consumers have power restored. There are no casualties,” he stated.
In Mykolaiv city, drones targeted the area around 02:58 on November 3, leading to a fire at a hardware supermarket. Rescuers successfully extinguished the blaze.
Additional damage was recorded at a car service station, including damage to buildings and two vehicles. Windows in a nearby apartment building were also damaged, Kim added.
Kim specified that 18 attack drones of the “Shahed 131/136” type and various dummy drones were shot down or suppressed across Mykolaiv region.
The State Emergency Service (SES) confirmed that the drone strike in Mykolaiv caused a supermarket fire that covered approximately 2,000 square meters.
“Another fire occurred on the territory of a car service station — 30 square meters, cars were damaged, and windows in a residential building were blown out. There are no casualties,” the SES concluded.
Earlier, an Iskander-M ballistic missile, launched by Russian forces, struck Mykolaiv. Regional authorities confirmed that the attack resulted in one fatality and left at least 15 individuals injured.
