Russian forces launched drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in Odesa, resulting in injuries, according to local authorities on March 20.

“Odesa is on fire, Russian drones are striking civilian sites in the city, and there are casualties,” wrote Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, confirmed damage to civilian infrastructure, including a residential high-rise, a shopping center, and several stores. He also reported that three people were injured, including a minor girl.

“As a result of the attack, powerful fires broke out at three locations. There are also emergency power outages in the Prymorskyi, Peresypkyi, and Kyivskyi districts of Odesa,” Kiper said.

Previously, Russia launched a series of airstrikes across several Ukrainian cities, including Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, using 20 KAB guided bombs within a matter of hours.
