The footage captures a chaotic moment where a BMP-1 driver, seemingly disoriented or reacting to aerial threats, crushes Russian assault troops who had just disembarked.
The video, recorded from a drone, shows at least three soldiers caught under the vehicle’s tracks. The incident appears to have occurred as the unit was attempting to reposition under fire.
The cause of the BMP-1’s maneuver remains unclear, but the footage suggests that the driver may have been responding to munitions dropped from an overhead drone.
Earlier, a Russian tank reportedly ran over a vehicle carrying its own soldiers in the occupied town of Selydove, Donetsk region. Footage shared on social media shows the destroyed vehicle with visible casualties, while a Russian soldier on site confirms that there were no survivors, calling the incident “a complete mess.”
Reports also indicated that Russian military commanders have used extreme measures to enforce discipline, including illegal detentions, torture, and executions of their own soldiers.
