Russian Iskander-M Ballistic Missiles Strike Kryvyi Rih, Damaging Residential Area

On March 13, Russian forces launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, striking a residential area in the city center. According to preliminary reports, a restaurant and karaoke venue were among the sites damaged.
The head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, confirmed the attack, stating: “Kryvyi Rih is under missile attack. The enemy has once again launched a treacherous missile strike on the city center, targeting a residential district. Another clear sign that Russian forces continue to strike civilian areas.”
Initially, Lysak reported at least four injuries, all in moderate condition and receiving medical care. However, the number of injured has since risen to eleven, with six individuals hospitalized due to traumatic brain injuries, contusions, and lacerations.
“The attack caused significant destruction, damaging four apartment buildings and four private residences,” Lysak added. “Emergency services, medical personnel, and municipal workers are actively engaged in response efforts to assist the victims and mitigate the aftermath of this assault.”
According to the head of the City Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, the attack was carried out using Iskander-M ballistic missiles. "One strike hit a nightclub in a densely built residential area. A humanitarian assistance center is being set up at the nearest school, which is clearly visible and has a shelter," he stated.

The second missile struck a civilian infrastructure facility. "We are setting up the assistance center at the same location where aid was previously provided after attacks in this area. Shelters are available," Vilkul added. He also assured that residents affected by the attack would receive building materials and financial assistance from the city.

The total number of wounded has risen to 12.
“Among the injured in Kryvyi Rih are two children—boys aged 2 and 15,” Lysak said.
