According to Lasar’s Group, the operation was conducted in early March, with Ukrainian drone bomber crews hitting multiple Russian assets positioned near the border.

The unit reported that Russian forces had concealed their equipment in a forest belt, likely to reduce visibility from aerial reconnaissance. Operators from Lasar’s Group used their own unmanned aerial systems to survey the area and identify targets before transmitting coordinates to strike drone crews.

According to the unit, Ukrainian drone bombers subsequently engaged the targets, reportedly striking six tanks and two pieces of heavy vehicle equipment. The statement indicated that the equipment may have been concentrated in the Belgorod region for potential deployment toward the Kharkiv axis.

Footage released by Lasar’s Group shows Russian armored vehicles detected and targeted from the perspective of Ukrainian drones during the operation.

Earlier, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 23, Ukrainian forces carried out overnight strikes targeting Russian air defense systems, including Tor and Tunguska units, as well as a Nebo-U radar station and multiple drone and ammunition storage sites across occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Russia’s Bryansk region.
