Russian troops are drowning attempting to land on Dnipro Islands in Kherson, Atesh  reports.

An agent from the partisan movement embedded within Russia's 61st Separate Marine Brigade of the Northern Fleet revealed that soldiers from the unit drowned during an attempted landing on Bilohrudyi Island in the Dnipro Delta. During the operation, 2 of the soldiers were struck by a drone, lost control of their jet ski, and fell into the water, unable to escape.

"Such incidents are not uncommon in the Russian military," explained the partisans, attributing the issues to poor or completely absent training and the challenging terrain, which soldiers are simply unable to handle. They added that the morale of Russian occupiers is at an all-time low, as some soldiers are sent to the islands as a form of punishment.

Atesh also emphasized that all information about Russian troop activities is shared with Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

On December 4, reports suggested that Russia had prepared 300 boats to support operations in the Kherson direction, focusing on securing positions in the island area.
