Devastating Russian Missile Strike on Chernihiv Kills One and Injures Four

Russia launched a triple missile strike on a residential area on the outskirts of Chernihiv, destroying two private homes, killing one person, and injuring four, reported Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Administration on January 3.

“One person is confirmed dead, and there are injured victims. Search and rescue operations are ongoing,” Chaus wrote in an official statement.

Earlier, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 93 Shahed drones and various decoy UAVs, killing at least one person and injuring 4 others.

At 6:12 pm, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration added that a Russian missile strike wounded four people and killed one.
