Saboteurs Hit Russian Command Center Near Ukraine Border, Paralyze Military Ops

A sabotage operation carried out by the Atesh partisan movement has disrupted Russian military communications in the Bryansk region, near the Ukrainian border.

Agents of the network targeted a key communications hub located roughly 100 kilometers from Ukraine. The strike disabled a telecommunications tower that coordinated Russian border and military units operating in the area.

The Atesh movement stated on Telegram that the operation affected several Russian command centers, including units of the Border Service, the 84th Engineering and Airfield Battalion, and a regiment of the National Guard. These formations were responsible for logistics, border protection, and engineering support.

“The disruption in communication caused chaos in the command system,” the group reported. “Russian forces temporarily lost control over a critical border area, reducing their ability to respond quickly to emerging threats.”

The Atesh movement, consisting of Ukrainians and anti-war Russians, has been conducting coordinated operations in occupied and border regions since early in the full-scale invasion.

Their actions aim to disrupt Russian military logistics, communications, and administrative control.

Earlier on October 11, agents of the Atesh movement embedded within Russia’s 82nd Motor Rifle Regiment reportedly provided Ukraine with detailed intelligence on a planned offensive near Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. According to Atesh, the information enabled Ukrainian forces to strike preemptively, disrupting Russian troop movements and halting the assault before it began.
