“This is another step toward strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, demonstrating the trust our partners place in our military-industrial potential,” Umerov said, emphasizing the importance of this agreement.

The meeting between Umerov and Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson also included discussions on future financial assistance for Ukraine in 2025.

“We are working to ensure this support grows and meets the real needs of our defenders,” Umerov added.

The Ukrainian Defense Minister highlighted the focus on equipping Ukrainian brigades, saying, “We are finalizing agreements with our Nordic partners.”

Earlier, Denmark announced a $137 million (€130 million) investment to support Ukraine’s defense industry.
