During the World Economic Forum in Davos, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reached an agreement with the United States regarding the supply of PAC-3 missiles for Ukraine’s Patriot air defense systems.

Zelenskyy shared this update on January 23 while speaking at the second National Forum for Talented Youth, responding to a question about the results of his Davos visit, Ukrinform reported.

“I spoke with President Trump and received—I won’t say how many—PAC-3 missiles for Patriot,” Zelenskyy stated.

The President emphasized that his trip to Davos was aimed not only at addressing global issues but also at achieving specific, critical outcomes for Ukraine’s defense needs.

“We talked about global matters, but we resolved a specific issue that clearly reflects why I went there,” he added.

PAC-3 missiles are a vital component of the Patriot system, known for their precision in intercepting enemy missiles and drones. Their transfer is expected to significantly enhance Ukraine’s air defense capabilities amid ongoing Russian aggression.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian President Zelenskyy announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos that Ukraine is prepared to sink Russian ships near Greenland once it becomes a member of the North Atlantic Alliance.
