Trump and Zelenskyy to Meet for the First Time Since 2019
US presidential candidate and former US President Donald Trump said he will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday, September 27, for their first meeting since 2019.
This was reported by The Washington Post.
At a news conference, Trump announced his plans to meet with Zelenskyy at around 9:45 am at Trump Tower. It was reported that a source familiar with Zelenskyy's schedule confirmed the meeting, speaking anonymously.
On Thursday, September 26, Harris and Zelenskyy met on Thursday following the Ukrainian President's meeting with US President Joe Biden. Zelenskyy then headed to the Capitol to meet with bipartisan groups of House and Senate members.
