Trump on Black Sea Ceasefire Agreement: US Evaluating Kremlin’s Conditions

On March 25, US President Donald Trump stated that his administration is currently assessing the conditions outlined by the Kremlin for the implementation of a Black Sea agreement.
“We’re thinking about all of them right now. There are five or six conditions. We are looking at all of them,” Trump said during a press briefing at the White House.

Earlier in the day, the White House announced that Ukraine and Russia agreed, in principle, to cease the use of force in the Black Sea. However, the Kremlin later emphasized that the agreement would require the lifting of sanctions on Russian agribusiness and banks.
