The team of US President Donald Trump may hold talks with a Ukrainian delegation in early February during the annual Ukrainian Week in Washington, reported by Interfax-Ukraine, citing David Arakhamia, head of the ‘Servant of the People’ faction, on January 21.

“At the beginning of February, there will be Ukrainian Week  in Washington. I believe this is where the key processes and main negotiations with Trump’s new team will take place, so we are waiting,” Arakhamia said.

Scheduled from February 3 to February 8, 2025, Ukrainian Week is an annual event aimed at strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the United States.

The program includes meetings, roundtable discussions, and forums where representatives from both nations will address critical partnership issues. The event is set to feature US senators, members of Congress, and Ukrainian politicians and leaders.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Donald Trump on his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States.

Ukrainian Week is one of the most significant events, launched by a coalition of NGOs and Evangelical Churches of the United States and Ukraine, takes place in Washington, D.C., USA in early February each year. Ukrainian Week began to be held in February 2022 in the capital of the United States at the best venues of the city. In 2023, more than 500, and already in 2024, more than 750 delegates from Ukraine and the United States of America participated in Ukrainian Week.
