Donald Trump’s administration has reportedly put its Ukraine peace plan on hold to allow greater European involvement in negotiations, The Telegraph stated on February 10.

General Keith Kellogg, the US special envoy for Ukraine, has committed to consulting NATO allies individually before finalizing the long-anticipated framework to end Russia’s war in Ukraine. In recent discussions with European diplomats, he emphasized Washington’s intent to strengthen Ukraine’s position while ensuring that NATO members have a say in shaping the deal, according to The Telegraph.

Earlier reports suggested that President Trump’s administration planned to present a fully developed proposal at the Munich Security Conference. Instead, General Kellogg is now expected to reveal only select elements of the plan, with further talks to follow.

On February 9, it was announced US Vice President JD Vance will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Munich Security Conference next week, CBS News reported.
