UK Intelligence Reveals Satellite Images of Ukraine's Strike on Russia's Marinovka Airfield
The British Defence Intelligence published satellite images showing the aftermath of Ukraine’s strike on the Marinovka airfield in Russia’s Volgograd region.
The UK Defence Intelligence reported that Ukraine’s strike on the airfield resulted in destroying 4 destroyed aircraft shelters, 3 damaged aircraft shelters, a destroyed radome, and destroyed support buildings and open storage facilities.
On the night of August 21-22, 2024, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, struck the Marinovka airfield warehouses storing guided aerial bombs and fuel.
Ukraine has been successfully striking Russia’s airfields and oil depots. On the night of August 18, Defense forces of Ukraine carried out a strike on the "Kavkaz" plant in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. It was reported that the fire lasted for 16 days.
