"Today, our partnership with the Netherlands is becoming even deeper thanks to our agreements to start work on the Drone Deal and on the first joint production specifically with the Netherlands," Zelenskyy stated.

While the President did not disclose specific technical details regarding the production plans, he expressed gratitude for the ongoing military support provided by the Dutch government. He noted that assistance with air defense systems, missiles, and aviation continues to save lives across Ukrainian cities and communities daily.

The announcement follows remarks from Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten, who emphasized that the Netherlands would not be intimidated by Russian threats.

Earlier, Ukraine received the minehunter Henichesk from the Netherlands following an announcement by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on April 16.

This transfer marked a significant addition to the country's efforts to secure its maritime borders after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The vessel was intended to play a key role in clearing naval mines and ensuring the safety of sea routes.
