Ukraine Approves New SOVA 10 Combat Drone for Defense Forces
The Ministry of Defense has officially codified and approved the use of the new Ukrainian-made SOVA 10 drone for the Defense Forces.
This was announced by the Main Directorate for Life Cycle Support of Weapons and Military Equipment on December 16.
Key components of the SOVA 10 include dual cameras for day and night operations, providing superior imaging in both well-lit and low-light environments. Equipped with powerful 3115 900KV or 2812 900KV motors and Gemfan 1050-3 tri-blade propellers, the SOVA 10 can achieve high lift and stability, essential for missions requiring precision and reliability.
The drone also integrates advanced communication systems, including a Happymodel ES900 receiver for extended-range operations and a 5.8 GHz video transmitter capable of adapting signal power for optimal performance.
Designed for combat roles such as reconnaissance and precision strikes, the SOVA 10 combines advanced technology with durability to meet the complex demands of modern warfare.
“Each new model is developed based on technical recommendations from the military,” said Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klimenkov.
It was previously announced that Ukraine’s newly developed rocket drone, Peklo, has officially entered mass production, with around 100 units produced in just the past 3 months, according to Ekonomichna Pravda on December 16.
