Ukraine Produces 100 Peklo Rocket Drones in Just 3 Months
Ukraine’s newly developed rocket drone, Peklo has officially entered mass production, with around 100 units produced in just the past 3 months, according to Ekonomichna Pravda on December 16.
Peklo rocket drone quickly moved into series production after its development and coding were finalized. The contracts for these rockets are being secured by the same military units that operate Ukraine’s long-range drones.
The manufacturer is ramping up production capabilities, with plans to increase output in the coming months. While the exact cost of each unit is undisclosed, it is confirmed to be lower than the price of Ukraine’s Lutiy drone.
Peklo is made up of 70% locally sourced Ukrainian components from both state-run and private companies. To meet production demands, the company is addressing several supply chain bottlenecks by making the components interchangeable, such as allowing different engines to be used depending on availability in the market.
On December 6, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered the first batch of domestically produced Peklo rocket drones to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
