Ukraine is prepared to assist France in establishing a training center for drone operators, a move aimed at facilitating the exchange of experience in drone operations. This announcement was made by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov following his meetings with defense ministers from France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Germany.

Umerov noted that he returned to Ukraine with tangible results from his recent tour, which was part of a delegation led by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During his visit to France, Umerov had the opportunity to observe the training of a Ukrainian brigade.

“France is not only providing training but also equipping our units with modern weapons. This is an example that other partners should follow,” Umerov stated. He highlighted that during his discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron, he proposed a collaboration in the field of drone training.

Additionally, Umerov reported that the supply of weaponry for Ukrainian forces is set to increase, as the United Kingdom plans to deliver AS-90 artillery systems, long-range weapons, and robotic systems that will significantly enhance Ukraine’s capabilities on the battlefield.

Earlier, on October 9, Emmanuel Macron showed footage of the training of the Ukrainian Anna Kyivska Brigade, which is currently undergoing training in France.
