An ammunition depot containing North Korean supplies and aerial bombs was attacked in the Bryansk region with strike UAVs, reported head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andrii Kovalenko on October 9.

Kovalenko reported that “the 67th arsenal, located near the city of Karachev in the Bryansk region and the closest to the front line, was hit. The facility is situated just 114 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.”

He added that the depot stored ammunition, including supplies from North Korea and KAB bombs with some of this munitions stored in open areas.

Eyewitness footage confirms a fire at the ammunition depot.

Later in the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 47 Ukrainian drones, 24 of which were shot down over the Bryansk region.

Previously, satellite images revealed destruction of 58 buildings at Russian ammunition depot in Tver region, hit by Ukrainian drones on September 21.
