Ukraine to Fly Full Fleet of Dutch F-16s After Final Jet Delivery on May 26

The Netherlands will deliver the last of its promised F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine on Monday, May 26, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced during an appearance on WNL op Zondag on May 25.
“That means all 24 pledged fighter jets will soon be in Ukraine,” said Brekelmans.
The statement comes just after another wave of deadly Russian airstrikes across Ukraine. At least 13 civilians were killed, and 60 injured overnight as a result of multiple missile attacks.
Brekelmans emphasized that Moscow continues to escalate its war, showing “no intention of seriously discussing a ceasefire.”
In light of continued Russian aggression, the minister stressed the importance of maintaining pressure on the Kremlin and providing sustained support to Ukraine.

“Besides an earlier-announced aid package,” he said, “we are officially transporting the final F-16 to Ukraine this week.
We are also training Ukrainian pilots and technicians and sharing our military doctrines so that Ukraine can build a modern armed force aligned with NATO standards.”
Earlier, reports emerged that Norway will complete the delivery of its promised F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine by 2025, Defense Minister Ture O. Sandvik confirmed.
Sandvik stated that some of the aircraft have already been delivered, with the rest set to arrive by the end of 2025.
