Ukraine Turns Rare Russian Arctic “Vityaz” Vehicle Into Fireball in Black Sea Night Raid

Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate (HUR) operatives have destroyed a rare Russian DT-10 “Vityaz” all-terrain vehicle during a nighttime raid on Tendrivska Spit, a strategic strip of land along the Black Sea, HUR reported on September 19.
Fighters from the “Viking” Center for Naval Operations carried out the covert landing, planted minefields, and ambushed the Russian tracked vehicle as it attempted to deliver troops, weapons, and supplies to enemy positions.
“The Russian DT-10 ‘Vityaz’ was completely destroyed,” HUR said, releasing video footage of the vehicle burning out after the strike.
The DT-10 is a massive two-section amphibious carrier, originally designed for Arctic, Siberian, and Far Eastern terrain.
It can haul heavy loads across swamps, snow, and roadless forest areas in temperatures ranging from minus 50°C to plus 40°C. Newer Russian military variants, such as the DT-10PM “Vezdesushchiy,” feature armor protection and higher payload capacity.

By turning Russia’s Arctic workhorse into a fireball on the Black Sea coast, Ukrainian special forces struck a blow at Moscow’s logistics lifeline in the occupied Kherson region.
“Operations to disrupt enemy supply chains continue,” the intelligence service noted.
Earlier, a Ukrainian drone operator from the “Sapsan” battalion of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade destroyed two pieces of Russian artillery within minutes of combat work.
