The Bulava, unmanned strike and reconnaissance complex is now executing combat missions, demonstrating superior target engagement metrics compared with its Russian counterpart, was reported by Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister for Digital Transformation of Ukraine on June 12.

“Until recently, the Russian Lancet dominated the skies. Today, it is being supplanted by solutions from the Brave1 defense innovation cluster. The Bulava strike is already performing combat missions and surpasses the Lancet in key indicators,” stated Fedorov on his Telegram channel.

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, as of now, the Bulava complex not only destroys high-priority targets, such as enemy electronic-warfare assets and air-defense systems, but does so with pinpoint accuracy under the most challenging conditions. It can engage both stationary and moving objectives and delivers real-time video confirmation of each successful strike.

As Minister Fedorov emphasized that Bulava incorporates a suite of advanced features that remain undisclosed for security reasons. “These cutting-edge technologies provide Ukraine with an asymmetric advantage, and the more such solutions are deployed, the slimmer the enemy’s prospects become.”, he added.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation unveiled the Bulava AI suicide drone with a 3.6 kg thermobaric warhead, pneumatic catapult launch, relay-assisted 55 km range, and autonomous optical targeting under low-visibility conditions.
