Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) has released rare archival footage showing combat operations carried out by Belarusian volunteers fighting against Russian forces on the Zaporizhzhia front.

According to HUR on January 13, the footage dates back to autumn 2025 and documents a complex combat operation conducted by Belarusian volunteers from Unit 1514, which is part of the Timur Special Unit under Ukraine’s military intelligence.

The video shows the use of multiple weapon systems, including multiple launch rocket systems, mortars, and strike drones. It also captures elements of frontline reconnaissance, wartime logistics in modern combat, and the provision of medical aid to wounded fighters.

Defense Intelligence said the operation resulted in the destruction of Russian positions, the burning of Russia vehicles and military equipment, and significant losses inflicted on Russian forces.

“The results of the Defense Intelligence special forces’ work include destroyed enemy positions, burned vehicles and equipment of the occupiers, as well as Russian troops described as crippled and filled with despair, whom FPV drone operators, without hesitation, reduce to what is described as a grimly ‘organic’ state for the invaders,” the intelligence wrote.

Earlier, fighters from the “Freedom of Russia” Legion, who are fighting on Ukraine’s side, carried out an operation in November that destroyed a critical railway route used by Russian forces in the Zaporizhzhia region.
