Ukraine’s Intel Drones Wreck Russia’s S-400, Buk & Tor in One Devastating Strike, Video

The special operations unit “Ghosts” of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate (HUR) has released footage of a series of successful drone strikes targeting Russian air defense systems in occupied Donetsk region.
According to HUR’s official Telegram post, the attacks took place over the past two weeks and focused on high-value radar and missile systems.
The released video shows precision drone strikes destroying a Tor-M1 surface-to-air missile system.

This short-range system is designed to protect front-line units against aircraft and precision-guided munitions. Its loss weakens Russia’s layered air defense network and opens critical gaps in low-altitude coverage.
Another confirmed target was a 55K6 command post, a mobile control center associated with the S-400 air defense complex. Eliminating this node likely disrupted coordination between multiple S-400 launchers and radar units, limiting the system’s ability to track and engage aerial threats.
The third target was a 9S18M1-3 radar station, part of the Buk-M3 medium-range missile system. This radar is essential for target acquisition and tracking, and its destruction significantly reduces the combat effectiveness of any nearby Buk batteries.
Earlier, Ukraine’s SBU Chief Vasyl Malyuk revealed that nearly half of Russia’s Pantsir-S1 air defense systems had been destroyed since the beginning of 2025, calling them “the most effective” counter to Ukrainian drones. Malyuk stated that 48% of the fleet was eliminated, exceeding Russia’s annual production rate.
