The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine estimates that strikes by the Defense Forces on Russian enterprises and infrastructure have reduced the Russian Federation’s revenues by $74 billion.

The General Staff reported via Telegram on August 15.

According to official infographics, nearly 80% of Russian air targets hit by Ukraine were part of the country’s oil and gas infrastructure. Of these, 42% were oil refineries, and another 37% were oil storage facilities. The remainder were logistics assets involved in the transportation and export of petroleum products, including oil pumping stations and oil terminals.

The data also indicates that most attacks were carried out against targets located between 500 and 1,000 kilometers from Ukraine’s positions, accounting for 39% of all strikes. A similar proportion hit facilities within 500 kilometers, while about 10% targeted sites more than 1,000 kilometers deep inside Russian territory. The General Staff did not specify which types of weapons were used in the operations.

The estimated value of Russia’s losses stands at approximately $74.11 billion, a figure that corresponds to about 4% of the country’s GDP.

Earlier, India, the world’s largest buyer of seaborne Russian crude, is racing to find alternative supplies ahead of the August 15 summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

The move follows Trump’s demand that New Delhi stop purchasing discounted Russian oil, accusing the trade of fueling “the war machine,” and his decision to double tariffs on Indian goods in response.
