Russia struck Ukraine with 690 drones and missiles overnight on May 24, including a medium-range ballistic missile that likely hit the south of Kyiv region. The capital bore the brunt of the attack, with two killed, 62 injured, and damage reported at more than 40 sites.

Russia is rapidly scaling up production of the rocket fuels that power its missiles and artillery, using imported chemicals and components sourced from companies across Europe, Asia, and Central Asia, according to internal documents.
