Ukraine’s Robotic Complex "Tarhan" to Help Transport Supplies on Battlefield
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine authorized the use of the unmanned ground robotic complex "Tarhan " developed by Ukrainian engineers for the use of the Defense Forces.
"Tarhan" is a small-size robot, which allows it to be transported in a minibus or on a car trailer. At the same time, the ground robot itself can transport up to 200kg of cargo. Depending on the needs, it is capable of transporting ammunition, food, and equipment.
A silent electric motor, large rubber wheels, and special design features allow "Tarhan" to move around the battlefield inconspicuously for a considerable distance.
As Ukraine’s army needs increase amid Russia’s ongoing invasion, it continues to enhance its defense capabilities through innovation and with the backing of international partners.
Yesterday, on October 22, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense approved the supply of Ukrainian-made "Varan" buggies, which will be used to move personnel, evacuate the injured, and transport ammunition.
Ukraine has recently commenced the domestic production of 155mm artillery shells, marking a milestone for the nation’s defense industry.
