Ukraine’s Top Officials Arrive in London for Ceasefire Talks With Allies

Andriy Yermak, Head of the President’s Office, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha have arrived in London for talks with representatives from the United States, France, the UK, and Germany, Yermak wrote on April 23 on his Telegram channel.
He emphasized that despite everything, Ukraine will work for peace.
“As agreed in Paris, we will meet with our American and European interlocutors currently in the British capital. The path to peace is challenging, but Ukraine has always been and remains committed to peaceful efforts,” Yermak wrote.
He added that the discussions will focus on ways to achieve a complete and unconditional ceasefire as the first step toward a comprehensive settlement and the establishment of a just and lasting peace.
On April 23, it was reported that senior diplomats from the UK, France, Ukraine, and Germany postponed planned peace talks in London. However, the meeting will proceed at a lower diplomatic level, with other senior officials representing the countries involved.
