Ukrainian Battle Robot Defies FPV Drone Attacks And Rolls Through Explosions, Video

An Ukrainian unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) “Ravlyk” (“Snail”) completed its mission on the front despite coming under artillery fire and being hit three times by Russian FPV drones, Defender Media reported on November 5.
“During a combat mission, the Ravlyk UGV, carrying more than 300 kg of cargo, came under artillery fire and sustained three hits from FPV drones,” the outlet said, publishing footage of the damaged but still operational platform.
According to Defender Media, the vehicle was performing a logistics task when it was targeted. The platform’s backup systems allowed it to stay controllable and finish the delivery.
“Ravlyk” is a Ukrainian universal ground robotic platform that has already been codified for use by the country’s defense forces, enabling frontline units to integrate it for transport, evacuation and, increasingly, for fire support roles.

In its November report, Defender Media emphasized that the latest mission showed the value of layered resilience in Ukrainian UGVs: even if the main link or a component is damaged by a drone blast, the operator can still bring the machine out or push it to finish the run.
That is crucial on sectors of the front where Russian FPV operators deliberately hunt logistics lines, knowing that destroying a supply quad bike or pickup can freeze an entire infantry group.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine’s “Ravlyk” ground robot was upgraded into the Droid Raw 12.7 variant by adding DevDroid’s Wolly 12.7 combat module with an M2 Browning heavy machine gun, so the formerly logistics-focused platform could conduct frontline combat tasks as well as transport.
