Ukrainian Forces Destroy Russian Buk System With Help From ATESH Partisan

The Ukrainian resistance group ATESH claims one of its agents embedded in the Russian military provided photos and coordinates of a deployed Buk air defense system, enabling Ukrainian forces to strike and destroy the installation, ATESH reported on September 19.
“We quickly relayed this data to Ukraine’s defense forces—the positions were hit, and the system is now destroyed,” Atesh said in a statement.
“Neither our agent nor his fellow servicemen were harmed.”
ATESH added that growing numbers of Russian troops are reaching out to them, unwilling to participate in what they called the Kremlin’s “war machine.”
“If you do not want to take part in the Kremlin’s crimes and want to protect yourself, contact us,” ATESH urged.
“Our work is systematic—we have already received new information, and further strikes are being prepared.”
Earlier, ATESH partisans claimed responsibility for a sabotage operation at a railway junction near Yekaterinburg, where an agent damaged relay equipment and disrupted traffic along key supply routes used for transporting ammunition, armored vehicles, fuel, and troops.
