Ukrainian Forces Launch Multiple Attacks in Russia’s Kursk Region

Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out attacks on Russian positions in the Kursk region, hitting multiple fronts and catching the Russian troops by surprise. This information was shared by Andriy Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, via his Telegram channel.

Kovalenko highlighted that the Russian forces were taken aback by the scale and coordination of the attacks, with Ukrainian forces making significant strides on several fronts. “The Russian forces in the Kursk region are facing difficulties after being attacked on multiple fronts. This came as an unexpected development for them,” Kovalenko noted.

In a separate statement, Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, also commented on the situation, emphasizing that the Ukrainian forces' efforts are continuing to bear fruit in the region. “Good news from Kursk. Russia is receiving what it deserves,” Yermak wrote in his Telegram.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russia had suffered significant losses in the Kursk region, including the destruction of an entire battalion of North Korean soldiers and Russian paratroopers near the village of Makhnovka.
