SBU  drones have allegedly destroyed an ammunition warehouse in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian media outlets citing sources in SBU report on December 16.

According to the provided information, the special operation was carried out a few days earlier. Drones of the Security Service struck artillery and mortar warehouses near the village of Markyne in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.

The depot housed thousands of munitions for infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, anti-tank guided missiles, mines, grenades, and millions of rounds of ammunition of various calibers, Suspilne reported.

“According to our sources, explosions were heard throughout the night at the enemy facility during the Security Service’s special operation. Not only was the ammunition depot destroyed, but also a nearby fuel and lubricant storage facility,” wrote Suspilne.

Previously, it was reported on December 15 that Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian train transporting 40 fuel tankers in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region.
