Ukrainian Forces Successfully Hit Russian S-400 Radar Station in Belgorod Region

Ukraine’s Defense Forces successfully struck the radar equipment of an S-400 missile system in Russia’s Belgorod region on January 16, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Specifically, Ukrainian forces struck the positions of the 568th Anti-Aircraft Missile Battalion of Russia, disabling the 92N6 radar station of the S-400 missile system, indicating a successful strike.

“Yesterday afternoon, the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s missile units, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, carried out precise long-range strikes on military targets of the Russian aggressor in Belgorod region,” the General Staff reported.

Additionally, Ukrainian missile forces successfully struck the positions of the radar company of the 336th Radio-Technical Battalion of Russian forces. The damage to equipment and machinery within this unit has been confirmed.

On January 6, the Ukrainian Navy targeted two Russian $15 million Pantsir-S1 and OSA-AKM air defense systems in the Kherson region using FPV drones.
