Ukrainian Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) conducted an attack on satellite communications in Russia, according to sources in Ukrainian intelligence reported to "Babel."

The operation targeted the IT infrastructure of "Morsvyazsputnik," the national operator of mobile satellite communications. Additionally, the cyber corps of the HUR struck at the Russian state system for monitoring maritime traffic.

Ukrainian cyber specialists also launched attacks on the transport and logistics company Fesco, as well as the enterprises "Rosmorport" and "Rosmorrechport."

As a result of the cyberattacks, there were systemic disruptions in accessing websites and electronic resources. Furthermore, satellite communication, which is crucial for monitoring and controlling maritime transport, became unstable.

Earlier, on October 7, Russian users began reporting the unavailability of online broadcasting from channels of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
