The Iron Brigade has taken down Russian “waiters,” reconnaissance drones, and loitering munitions.

In recent operations, units of the Iron Brigade destroyed several types of Russian UAVs, including “waiter drones,” reconnaissance platforms, and strike drones, the the 3rd Separate Heavy Mechanized Iron Brigade reported on November 24.

The brigade’s ZRAD interceptor team ensured the downing of Russian reconnaissance and attack UAVs.

Between November 22 and 23, five drones were confirmed destroyed: three Zala systems, one Lancet loitering munition, and one Skat strike drone. The opening frames of the released footage show Ukrainian drones hitting “waiters” with targeted drops.

Other units of the brigade carried out precise FPV strikes on hidden Russian observation points.

Earlier, a Ukrainian MiG-29 pilot shared footage capturing the moment he dodged a Russian air-to-air missile launched from about 45 kilometers away over the Zaporizhzhia region.

The video, posted by the pilot known by the call-sign “Sava,” includes real-time audio of ground controllers directing him through the evasive maneuver as the missile approached.
