Commenting on his win, Carpetman said, “Feels unreal. Thankful for this sign along the way.”

Carpetman initially rose to fame as a member of Kalush Orchestra, which won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022 with the song Stefania. In 2023, he embarked on a solo career, creating his own lyrics and producing his own music.

Known for his unique style, Carpetman incorporates signature choreography and wears an outfit featuring carpet patterns, adding an element of mystery to his persona while maintaining his anonymity.

According to the Enko label, in previous years, other Ukrainian artists such as alyona alyona, Alina Pash, and Jerry Heil have also received the honor.

Additionally, Jerry Heil and alyona alyona achieved third place at Eurovision 2024 with their song Teresa & Maria.

Earlier, the British music outlet Resident Advisor unveiled its list of the 200 best electronic tracks from 2000 to 2025, which features Strong-Willed, a collaboration between Ukrainian vocalist Yana Pavlova and producer Pavel Milyakov.

The rankings were created following a survey of over 100 participants from the electronic music community, including artists, DJs, clubs, labels, promoters, journalists, and both Resident Advisor staff and freelancers. Strong-Willed by Pavlova and Milyakov secured the 41st spot in the overall rankings.
