UNITED24 Raises $1.4 Billion in Three Years of Global Support for Ukraine

UNITED24, Ukraine’s official fundraising platform, launched in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion, has collected more than 56 billion UAH (over $1.4 billion) since its inception on May 5, 2022. This makes it not only the country’s largest fundraising initiative but also a globally unique example of state-led crowdfunding at scale.
In a statement marking the milestone, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the figure represents more than financial support—it stands as proof of global solidarity in the face of brutal and unprovoked aggression.
“This is not just a number but a testament to what can be achieved when millions stand together with a purpose. What unites us is not geography, language, or background. It’s your conviction that moves us forward, and helps us stand strong in the face of unprovoked aggression, ‘ Zelenskyy stated on his official X account.

Contributions through UNITED24 have supported Ukraine’s defense forces, medical aid, infrastructure reconstruction, and demining efforts. The platform has become a central hub for donors ranging from individuals to international partners.
“Every contribution, no matter the size, is a step toward justice; towards the future we are building together. Thank you for showing the world that unity, and conviction in a common cause, are the strongest forces we have,” Zelenskyy added.
According to data provided by UNITED24, the platform has raised $288 million in 2022. That figure rose to $336 million in 2023 and reached $424 million in 2024. In just the first four months of 2025, the platform has already collected $398 million.

The vast majority of donations, 91.04%, have gone toward Ukraine’s defense sector. Other key areas of support include humanitarian demining, medical aid, reconstruction, and education.
With donor and partner support, UNITED24 has enabled the purchase and delivery of thousands of critical assets, including:
10,852 drones;
106 maritime drones;
618 unmanned ground systems;
240 medical evacuation vehicles;
13 armored evacuation transporters;
28 pediatric ventilators;
12 neonatal intensive care incubators;
83 Trembita metal detectors;
7 heavy-duty tractors;
5 demining vehicles.
In addition to military and medical aid, the platform has also supported significant reconstruction projects. Donations have helped:
Rebuild 29 bridges and a key irrigation canal in the Kherson region;
Restore 11 residential buildings in the Kyiv region;
Reconstruct 3 medical institutions;
Equip 3 protective shelters;
Rebuild 2 schools.

The $1.4 billion raised through UNITED24 over the past three years was made possible by donors from around the world, including individuals, international corporations, and foreign governments. But the platform’s global reach has also been driven by its ambassadors—26 influential Ukrainian and international figures from the worlds of film, music, science, and sports.
Among them are Imagine Dragons, Mark Hamill, Timothy Snyder, Elina Svitolina, and Andriy Shevchenko—each using their platform to amplify Ukraine’s call for support. Their efforts have significantly broadened the platform’s audience and impact.
In addition to the official ambassadors, a number of global celebrities have lent their support to UNITED24, including Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, U2’s Bono, Tom Odell, Sting, and many others.
Their collective advocacy has played a vital role in keeping Ukraine’s needs visible on the international stage, helping transform global solidarity into life-saving aid and reconstruction.
On April 4, marking the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, Ukraine’s official fundraising platform UNITED24 launched a major campaign to raise $1.5 million for humanitarian demining in three heavily contaminated regions: Kherson, Kharkiv and Kyiv.
