Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois are finalizing a deal for a highly anticipated rematch for the Ring Magazine and undisputed heavyweight titles, scheduled for July 12 at Wembley Stadium in London, sources confirmed to The Ring.
Usyk, currently ranked №1 in the pound-for-pound rankings by The Ring, previously defeated Dubois by a ninth-round knockout when the two faced off in August 2023 in Wroclaw, Poland.
On December 21-22, 2024, Oleksandr Usyk emerged victorious in a rematch against Tyson Fury, held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This historic bout solidified Usyk’s status as one of the greatest boxers in modern heavyweight history.

After Usyk’s win over Fury, Daniel Dubois stepped in the ring to call for a rematch, which Usyk accepted.
“No problem. Your Excellency,” Usyk said, addressing Turki Alalshikh, the Head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority. “Arrange a fight for me with Daniel Dubois. Thank you very much.”
In a January 17 ESPN article, boxing insider Mike Coppinger stated that Usyk has dominated every challenge in the heavyweight division, defeating its top contenders and solidifying his legacy, leaving nothing for him to prove.
