Steve Witkoff and Kirill Dmitriev are set to meet at the White House today, following a temporary lift of sanctions against Dmitriev, Sara Cook of CBS News reported on April 2.

Sources confirmed to Cook that sanctions against Dmitriev have been temporarily lifted, facilitating the meeting.

In related news, a bipartisan bill was introduced in the US Senate by Republicans Lindsey Graham and Democrat Richard Blumenthal, seeking to impose sanctions on Russia if the Kremlin undermines President Donald Trump’s peace efforts regarding Ukraine.
